No, this is not a misprint.
Once again, and out of the same box - I have a duplicate message.

" You will enjoy true in whatever you do. "

But just because their message was the same
doesn't mean mine has to be, as you well know.

Because today is my son's Birthday !

And for many reasons, this may mark the final week
that I continue my fortune cookie a day writing,
and instead will post once a week.

Why?

Because there have been times where
I have written because I HAVE to,
not because I was inspired to.

And... it cheapens the weight of my words,
and you are left with far less than you deserve.


This has been an experiment in accountabilty for me,
and I'm proud of myself for actually acting on and
following through with that thought born on July 21, 2009.


Now you do not know this yet,
but this is the perfect message for tonight.
If you recall the words from the original one,
I spoke rather strongly about people doing what they enjoy
VS learning to enjoy what they do - and choose what they do
because it makes sense instead of making them feel good.

" The secret to success
lies not in doing what one likes,
but in liking what one does. "

It is difficult to act on inspired thoughts when one's days are
spent in a very uninspiring environment where there is no
opportunity to ponder and put to paper those thoughts.

So at best you are left with whatever I can manage to pull out
of a fortune cookie every night after midnight once all of my
full time and freelance "work" endeavors come to an end.


That is not a Life worthy of my pursuit -
it does not fulfill my deepest passions,
and in selling myself so short,
you must settle for less

from me.



So for a while I will devote my time and resources into those
endeavors which make sense and will over the long haul
move me closer to my greater purpose in this world.
